Where do you get the best deals on Jackets and helmets in calgary.
Also whats a good make at a reasonabl price..

depends on whether your buying used or new, there is always gear being sold on buysell.com and beyond. As for new gear just shop around, try blackfoot and bow cycle.

I have like a couple months old Alpine Stars Leather Jacket.
Its large and harldly used.
500 dollars (paid like 750 for it)

haha are you serious?

Just in case you are, I'll type this out.

Boots are important because they will save your foot/ankle in the event of a crash. There are not guarantees of course, but if you were to slide down the pavement with a 400lb bike on your leg, would you rather be wearing nikes or a leather riding boot with armour?? Seems simple to me.

Don't cheap out on gear!

yeah smashing your ankle and then doctors having to rebuild it is not fun... i know.
Lots of surgery and lots of recovering. Plus you basically have to learn how to walk agian.
