11.2 S 1/4 mile civic

i have a friend who states his "friend" runs a 11.2 S 1/4 mile Civic. Street legal.

Just curious if anyone knows if there is actually one of those ripping around calgary, and if so, the specs.. :thumbsup:

im not sure i didnt get the details.

I just mentioned how as of june, a mid 13 second car runs in the top 10 for fastest SCC in alberta.

And he said something about his friends civic running low 11's and i had a bit of a hard time believing it.


I dont know much about the 1/4 mile scene in CGY, but wouldn't it be pretty tough to get a car like a civic to run low 11's what with our altitude and such. :dunno:

The reason why 78si asked if it was red is because there is a member of this site (gpomp) with a red one that is really really fast, his nickname has become "sti killer" but I don't think he runs anywhere near low 11's.

that's not the reason. These is a civic hatch that ran low 12s high 11s last year at Race city. Can't remember the username of the top of my head. Otherwise there are no low 11s civics in Calgary. Gpomps is the fastest civic this year at 12.7 (in calgary)
