Got a Second Hand Flash Yah!!!!

Got a new acessory today.

the Canon 550EX flash from a user on www.fredmiranda.com
Guy was out in Richmond BC and wanted 340 for it shipped

The cool thing is I got in 2 days after he shipped. I came with flash, bag, stand and a Japanese Instruction Book

lol How the hell am I gonna learn how to use it?
Keep it on E-TTL all the time?

Anyone out there can help me out?
Would like to use it on Canada day.

and there are a few people on this forum that have the 550 so if you ask around, they might be able to help.

and yeah, keep it on E-TTL and shoot in Av. that usually gives the best results except in extreme situations like bar lighting.

I used to play with this flash all the time. Set it on strobe and it would go on for like 10 seconds or Flash it so hard it would make a "Zing" sound and we would ask if our sperm was okay. Scared the shit out of the cookie girl.
