Free to Good Home: Pete the Pleco

Although not really a Pleco, he is a Hypostomus Robinii. He is about 2 years old, and 6 cms long.

Pete does not clean the algae off of tank walls like a Pleco would. He prefers shrimp pellets over algae wafers. He will catch and eat small fish (guppies, danios, etc) which is why we need to find a new home for him. He recently sucked the eye out of a cory. He is very territorial of his space. He loves to hide under driftwood, and apparently driftwood is essential to their diet.

If you could offer Pete a good home with no small fish to become his dinner please PM or email [email protected]

I don't know, but it seems kinda sad that a lad from P.E.I. would give away his fish.........;)

Ok. What I would like you to do is take a fish net, scoop him into it. You will then close in on your nearest toilet and proceed to flip the net upside down causing him to land in the toilet bowl. Next.. Use your LEFT hand NOT the right and push the flush nob. You will never have to EVER again deal with him eating fish again. He will be happier than ever eating human turds and condom exlax.

Well, you mentioned that "if I could offer him a home with no small fish for him for dinner..." how about I set him in my tank with my fully-grown arrowannas??? :banghead:

Just kidding... Why not try bringing it to a pet shop for a trade-in? I'm sure any Petland will be more than happy to take that sucker (no pun intended) in. Good luck!
