Does anyone know how to take out factory cd player from a 2002 Civic? I don't want to start and then scratch it all up. Help!

If I put an aftermarket deck do I need a black plastic bracket/insert? cuz the oem one is a different shape than an aftermarket. Does anyone know if I have to get rid of the factory cubby hole with the cover?
I Don't want it like this below:

Just goto "A&B Sound" and get a “mounting kit”. Should only run you $50. I have na Alpine deck, if you need a pic, let me know. I think the mounting kits might be different for each manufacture, but don't quote me, so there is the possibility that you might lose your “cubby hole with the cover”.
