photography course

I am going to be buying a higher end camera then im used to and want to know how to use it properly. Looking at an S3, but leaning more and more towards a Nikon D50. Not sure yet.
Was wondering if anyone knows of any good beginer digital photography courses in the Calgary area they could recomend. I would like it to be short course in the summer.
Any ideas?

buy SLR if you want to take a course.

Agreed, an SLR is a must-have, really. Ekliptix is taking or has taken the SAIT course IIRC, he might have some input on the subject. I've heard the course is quite good.
