I have a buddy who moved up here from Nova Scotia for work and he's been without a vehicle since he moved so he asked me to help him find one. Almost all of the sub 1k cars around here that I have found need about $500 worth of work on them.
He is willing to spend up to a grand. It needs to be reliable and good on gas. No major mechanical issues as he doesn't have a whole lot to put into repairs. He says the body condition doesn't matter much as long as its not a huge rusted dented piece of shit. It must beable to pass safety. Something like a Ford Festive, firefly or earlyer modle civics would be great but he/we are willing to look at anything. Its pretty much just going to be used to get him to work and back.
We are willing to come to lethbridge for the right car (be we must beable to drive it back if he decideds he wants it).
If you guys know of anything let me know.
