Stampede Breakfasts Downtown

Does anybody have a list of Stampede breakfasts downtown next week?

Here is what I have so far:


Monday July 10th – Breakfast: Alberta Place (8th Ave – 7th Street), McDougall Center (5th Ave, 5th Street), Lunch: Sun Life Plaza
Tuesday July 11th – Breakfast: Gulf Canada Square, Lunch: Petro-Canada
Wednesday July 12th -
Thursday July 13th -
Friday July 14th – Breakfast: 5th Avenue Place

I dont know about next week but im pretty sure that on friday just before the parade there is a breakfast at Staples(9ave 11 st SW)

Haha I see you've done your research KHTM. If you plan it out right, you could probably spend the entire Stampede week without bringing or buying anything to eat...of course you'd probably have a heart attack at the end too :D

Yes, I work on 6th Ave and 2nd Street, so as long as it's in walking distance I'm there.

I don't care so much for the actual food, it's just the skipping work for an hour that's the fun part.:thumbsup:

haha, Im going to the SUnlife one whenever that is, also not sure when mine is (petro)...and I heard the 5th ave and bow valley is good but you have to be in that building? :dunno:

Energy Plaza is tuesday, but you need a ticket...I wonder if I can swipe a few.:p Maybe sneak in?

5th ave was okay last year, pancakes, syrup, egg beaters, pudding, and juice. So-so.

Sunlife, you got popsicles while you were waiting in line, a big ass hot dog and/or burger, pop/juice, beans, and some other stuff.

My office is in Energy Plaza, and it is private, they check for tickets at the door. Don't worry though. It's not that great. Go to Gulf Canada Square instead.

I wouldn't go to any free ones. Anyone else drive by Chinook this morning, you'd have to wait 4 hours to get a free pancake. People do realize how easy pancakes are to make at home don't they?

Sunlife Lineup moves fast though. I got Weds for gulf canada breakfast though. Here's what I just got from a co-worker today.

Tuesday: Bantrel - Breakfast - 7st 6ave
TransCanada - Breakfast - 5th ave 1st
PetroCan - Lunch
Weds: Radisson - 6st and 7th ave

Thursday: Shell/Canterra breakfast - 4th ave and 3rd st
Friday: 5th ave place - breakfast - 5th ave and 2nd

I haven't verified them, so if anyone has time to call around...

Im going to the petro one tommorow, since im in that building and Wed...radisson? wow thats a bit of a hike lol

We should plan a small meet since so many of us are on the same block just about haha.

I have some buddies that work in Gulf Canada Square and they said the breakfast was Tuesday. I'll have to stop by and see.

I can confirm the 5th Ave place, and the Shell/Canterra breakfast seems right.

The Petro lunch is a long line, so a good time to be there is like 11:00 or later at around 1:00.

Id be up for it, just pick a place and day. Maybe Thurs, 5th Ave place or Canterra. Gulf canada sounds good too, as long as you dont have to be in that building.

Anyways, I went to the one here in Petro today and it was alright. Not bad, not great....it filled me up. But I got a bad tummy ache off it....:dunno:

7am-10am... went there at 7:30 and waited in line for 15 min. All breakfasts you gotta go early, or go late at like 9:30
