car wash location in edmonton?

So we need to hit up a car wash somewhere between the south of edmonton to the hotel (The Crowne Plaza - Chateau Lacombe Edmonton) to DTP.

any suggestions from you 780 folk?

For those of you who are running on Husky 94 Octane anyway, the Husky on Calgary Trail where the North and Southbound lanes split carries 94 Octane and has a carwash. You pay as you exit, so you don't need to bring along a shitload of loonies, and it also notably does not smell of horse manure like some of the Hughes carwashes around the city.

You will not see the actual gas station as you are heading north, so you need to exit just after the Petro Canada - let me fire up Google Earth and take a picture for you.

I usually use the DIY car wash off 23rd ave and Rabbit Hill Road. Might be a bit of a detour for you guys though...

Sorry for the quick and ugly MS paint, but you get the idea I hope. It is North of 23rd Avenue, which will be the 2nd major set of lights. There will be a Petro Canada just before the left turn, as well as a Toyota Dealership (marked in hard to read green on my jpg from Google Earth).

Have fun at DTP guys - I may come by to say hello - I heard GTS Jeff was making an appearance.

LOL I only ever go to Hughes...they are cheap and have never let me down. The most convenient one is the one on 99th St. and 45th ish Ave.

I also go to Hughes - but the one where I go on ST. Albert Trail always smells like someone sprayed out their Horse Trailer.

I just thought this one would be a one stop for people running 94 Oct and needing a wash. I thought the price was pretty reasonable when I went there. I paid about $4-5 which is what I pay at Hughes.
