hey i was looking into picking up a 95 talon awd turbo and talked to a few ppl about it and a few responses i got were that they were crappy cars and the transmission sucks and they have alot of problems with them i was wondering if anyone on here had opinions on the car. any experiences?

as far as i know with that gen, is if its turbo it sucks. something (cant remember what it is) goes on it and then u need a new engine, and most people just swap the engine of their second gen with a first gen engine

yep! thats what it was.

one thing as a previous dsm owner is, if you want a car that is reliable and dont want to put money into, dont get a dsm.... honestly...

a normal timing belt job is about $900. NO JOKE! and you gotta do it about every 75 000kms.

they are pricey cars, and things go one after another, seems as tho you fix one thing another thing breaks.

but dont get me wrong, i miss my car badly, wish it was still alive cuz it was A LOT more fun than this civic i have...:cry:
