Buddy has mad hail damage.

fucked up c/f hood, dented roof, trunk and one side.

insurance company is saying he might be sol unless he pays his deductable (his is $1k) is this usually the case.

can they make him do dentless or can he go through a body shop? just wondering what your personal experiences with hail damage is?

Damn buddy thought it was your car at first, but my parents had to pay their $500 deductable - which is the usual amount and they got cut a check for like $3000 when it happened to their taurus. It was best case scenario for that car

BTW they didn't even care if they fixed the car but they do have to give you the money for it

Every insurance company is different.

They can either pay you out or fix it in one of there recmmended facilities. They may also allow to go back to dealership of vehicle's make.

We are with AMA and when my dad's old ass Corolla got rear ended, they send him to Northland Pontiac to get all works done.
