good restaurant for a special occasion?

i know, there is another thread just like this, but this ones narrowed down a bit more, looking for a fancy restaurant, where you need to dress up and all that shit, for a special event i have planned, money is no major issue for this evening, but it would still be nice to know roughly how much to spend, any help would be great

i enjoyed the Calgary Tower, ur looking at around 100 for dinner

5-10 per drink

10 for an appetizer

around 30 per plate

another 10 for desert

plus the ride up.. but its nice. go there in the evening around sunset, just look over the whole city while enjoying a nice dinner.. i think it was the apple pork.. wow it was amazing..

if money is no issue i would recomend there

Calgary tower food is absolutely gross.

I'd say "The Bear's Den" in bearspaw, that place is high class.

If you go to the tower, it is definitely for the view, not the food...

my fav. place is the chicago chophouse downtown. The cast of the Sopranos were there. used to take my ex ladies there and it was about 120-180 for two.

calgary tower is pretty nice - the food is really good actually i heard they switched chefs - and the view is awesome at night time -

im not goin to lie though the view is worth it -

-well calgary tower is really nice if you go at night they have round booths
so you can sit together it privacy and check out the view. i had a great time
there! plus there was alot to talk about becuase we were finding different
landmarks/buildings in the city while we sat there

-the verve is nice, the one down town is very classy so if class is what you want go there .. ( kindof expensive)

Belgo on 8th downtown. Really Really nice.
Samuel L Jackson was there last week, and Cuba gooding JR. And on tuesday that Josh Hartnett was there. Really nice place
