Lots of money had been put into this car to make it look nice and perform good but not to the best unlike some...


The Bad:
Few dents from idiots slamming their doors into my car.
Front bumper needs fitting, probably need clearcoat
redone of car or polished etc.... $200
The Alarm is giving a non-existant error cost $40 to fix.
A guard underneath rattles when the exhaust hits it.
Little rust.

Reason for sale: I'm buying a new car. Time to get rid of my toys... :(

So is asking $12 000 alittle too much? or would you pay $10 000 for it? perhaps $9000 Frim?

I'd be surprised if you got 9k for it. I'd say around 7500-8500. Automatic + the ricer mods don't help your sale unfortunately.

Yeh I agree with all the ricer mods... so would I still get the same price if I took out the sound system as in the subs... and amp and the monitors and PS2 etc...?

I would probably say around 9500 would be a good starter point for an asking price
I sold my 97 gsr a couple months ago for almost 12g's and with less kms.

A couple of questions/comments.

I'm assuming by the HP rating you provided and the fact that you listed it as an LS, that there's a B18B under the hood. How are you running GSR cams in that motor? Unless you have a VTEC head on the car, they aren't going to fit. I'm mostly just curious as to your setup. If you have a B16 head on the motor, then you should mention it...it'll help the value, or if the cams aren't in the car, then I'd take them off the list.

Also, those wheels that you have listed as blades are the mesh wheels. Blades look like this:

As far at the price goes, I think 9-10 is fair, so start a little higher and see what you get. The auto is the killer though....you've limited your market with that, and the people that want an auto usually don't want the mods you have. You also might want to remove the stickers and put some normal wipers on the car. That will help to clean it for the potential buyer.

Yes that's my bad I will have the Cams reomoved somehow
the mechanic got them in and it's a non-vtec head.

Also those rims seem to be pretty light then again
how light are you expecting it to be? It's the LS Mesh
and their pretty nice, I've included the pics in but I don't
know about trades mainly looking for cash but we'll see.
Rubber is brand new with 1 year warranty left and I have
receipt still and everything so yeh just give me a PM or
something sometime and we'll see.

That's just digging the hole deeper.

All I'm saying is don't expect much, try $12K and see what the reception is from the tire kickers and go from there. You may get lucky.

And there's another thread about how mods actually reduce resale value, especially cars up in age, go read it.

Don't add unnecessary money on a car that you're planning to sell.

Just clean it up, make it presentable so that any average person might want to buy it. Taking off some of you mods might allow you to get more out of the car.
