There's a billion "freeware" programs but they are all crippled. Don't have time to download Premiere off torrent - anyone got a good free untility that can extract the audio from a vid file? Leaving tomorrow on a road trip and got a chapelle video to listen to on the road.

Or a mp3 encoder from wav would do the trick...

I use GoldWave for MP3 editing. It opens WMV, AVI and MPG files and can save them as MP3s.

Edit: Check PM.

I thought i replied to this thread? strange.

I use Winamp's disk writer to make any video into a wav file.
Just enable the disk writer, then play your playlist (make sure it is not on repeat)

I think use blaze media pro to convert it to a low bitrate MP3(If it's just a TV show you don't need really good quality for talking)

and then i transfer to my MP3 player :D

Blaze media pro is shareware for 30 days(easilly solvable ;))
