Hey,

Just curious if anyone here, or anyone here knows anyone that drives their 350 year round?

Would it be any worse in the snow than say a s2k or even an is300?

THANKS!!
Steve

With decent tires you'll be fine. Swap out for some steelies as well so you don't fuck up the stock wheels.

Of course, Calgary doesn't exactly get a lot of snow. I dorve my car all last year and just avoided the days where we had fresh stufff down, and even though I had snow tires on my car, they didn't see much "snow" action.

350Z has stability and traction control. I think it'd be decent in winter with some good winter tires.

the guy who owns that widebody veilside vert drove his car during winter, dunno if it's just cuz it didn't snow much alst winter but he still drove it. and i dont think he had winter tires on either since he was using his stock rims during winter and he still ahs them on now.

Not all Zs have stability control- mine doesn't. I don't need it though.

The Z is a pretty heavy car, and this makes it very stable. I can imagine the S2000 being a little frisky in the snow, being so light with RWD. It's known to be like that anyways...

Enthusiast and up have traction control, and Touring and up have VDC (stability control).

There's Base (none), Enthusiast (TC only), Touring (TC and SC), Track (TC and SC), and Grand Touring (TC and SC).

We get a boatload more snow out in Saskatoon and my friend has driven his G35 Coupe on snow tires for the last 2 winters with no real troubles whatsoever.

I drive my 350z in the winter with very little to no trouble at all. Keep in mind I use my stock rims with Pirellis 240 Wintersport tires, two ~50lb salt bags in the back, and avoid deep snow whenever possible. This car can easily be winter driven!

This is only in the USA of course. All Canadian 350Z's have TCS/VDC. Canada only gets the Touring 6MT/5AT + Track. The Z does fine int he snow with winter tires, even in Winterpeg.
