does this sound like a fraudulent trransaction. the guy claims he is in europe and the car is in US. he gave me the vin number and stuff, and want to do a transaction on craiglist.
he sent pics of thee car. what do you guys think ?

K, unless he sends you a REALLY REALLY BEAT UP car, there is no reason why he`d sell a 2005 car for $5000, period. Just by saying he's in europe but the car is in the US, you should have immediatelly picked up that its a scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it probablly is.

i got a warning on this last summer... big scam...

they take payment, you get fucked.. sometimes they actually did ship a car to buyers but it was completely toast.. like write-offs, and different models.. unless you can see it in person b4 payment.. stay away

anytime they are out of country and give you a deal that's too good to be true, its almost a certainty that its a scam
