Here's the deal, Got 3 cars right now and I wanna narrow it down to one. I want something driveable all year round. Something fast and reliable and if possible a car that still has warranty. It needs to seat at least 4 and make it to the ski hill and back. I was thinking about an STi or a S4. How reliable are these cars? Anybody has either one of those and can comment?
I'll be selling the BMWs and Hopefully that Civic of mine will sell soon.

my buddy has a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T and he had to get the head of the engine replaced as well as the ABS control unit...I just don't want shit like that to happen. I understand no cars are perfect and repairs are to be expected on a used car but I want to get something that's at least known to be somewhat reliable as it's gonna be my daily driver.

getting rid of your BMW's....I think you should be looking for a spankin' new RS4...haha STI would be my choice for the performance and to save some cash....you just need some luck finding a used one because those are high performance cars your looking at and aren't cheap to maintain in the long run.

Why not E39 M5?, Power, Reliability, Prestige, Not overly expensive.

^^^^ lol so true

the s4 though should be able to pull 350 hp with a good chip, intake, exhaust.

I need the all wheel drive ...I can't see myself in a foot of snow in eastern Canada with a RWD car....My 5 wouldn't even make it up small hills in Tuscany last winter with Yokohamas AVS winter...

yes they do...drove one today....awesome cars...also drove the new S4 and a WRX. S4 was cool but I wasn't impressed with the 340HP. felt more like 250hp...It's just not raw enough...no kick in the pants...now the STi on the other hand gives you enough kick to make your balls blue. That thing is mean and sticky. I just couldn't get it to derail...I know the S4 is more sophisticated but I was expecting more of an attitude...it's too smooth...even when it's being pushed!!!

it was too smooth...not that it's a bad thing if your a 50 years old business man....but I'm 25 and I want something a little spicier.
Which Subaru dealer are you dealing with Jamez?
