Hey im actually looking into a van, not for my driving. I found a 96 caravan, new tranny, water pump, and timing belt. Very little body damage, jus a couple of scratches, 200K around(bit more)

He is asking 2400, does this seem like a good deal? (i dont know much about the value of vans..)

All things being equal, 200k is alot.
And so is 2400 for 200k. I personally would not go for it.

I`m not saying it's a bad deal. What i`m saying is I, personally would not spend $2400 for a Van with over 200k on board. Has it had an inspection done recentlly?

Price is OK depending on how it drives and what options it has, ie: Power chairs, sliding doors, ac, etc..... Make sure they show you the receipts for the new tranny. A friend of mine had a caravan (not sure what year) but he says those trannies go around 150k, and after that all was good. If they took good care of it then 200k should be fine.
