I need expert beyonder's opinion on this car I'm interested to buy. Click link to see the car >>> http://club-integra.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7187

The asking price is $7000, my initial offer was $5500 because of the high mileage on the chassis. He wants $6000 for the car with the rims and everthing. What do you think the car is worth, is it worth the $6000 buy?

My 2cents is the car is value around $4000-4500 and with the added mods and rims, I see it at $5500 at the most.

Thanks in advance!

i personally think its work about that much maybe a bit more. high clicks, but its very rare you'll ever find a GS-R DA and the condition looks pretty good also. but thats my opinion.

254 thousand is pretty risky

altho the car still looks amazing, reliability should also be considered

I lived in Montreal for 10 years. The salt on the roads messes the cars up. You see some real shit cars down there. Every year and half you have to replace the exhaust system just cause it will rust and fall right off. I have seen it!

From the east, that means it worth $3K if you have time to fix it every other weekend.

For future reference:

Vancouver car: good body, bad engine from stop and go traffic

Alberta car: good engine, bad body from winter and stone chips.

East of Manitoba: everything is bad from heavy salting, it should usually cost about $2-$3K less than similar model in Alberta/BC.

There are also exception to the rule (like strictly summer cars) but rare.

Been over 2weeks now and no luck...
