View Full Version : where can i get tires put on rims

i got a set of 18 inch rims and it already has tires on it but they won't fit my civic. so i got another set of the right fitting tires.now my question is, where can i get the old tire off and the new tire on for a good price with it mounted and shit. somewhere in the se or ne. thanks

i went to kal tires and they are asking 150 for all 4 tires getting mounted on. is there any where cheaper than that?

so they will do ti for 80 with. i got old tires on it and i need to put new ones on. i am guessing they will do all the balanceing and shit too?

Tirecraft does it for $17 a tire, including balancing and installation.

tirecraft does it the cheapest $4 without balancing is what they charged me (i needed some tires to do a burnout with)

federal something. tire size is 215/35/18 maybe they need to get woren in?

were they used tires?

its natural for used/unbalanced/short of air, tires to make a whistling sound.. if you are worried

yeah they were used tires. ummm i got it balanced tho and its full of air. so i take it that it is normal and i just have to wait till they wear in

If they're making noise right now, I doubt they'll get any better as time goes on. Most aftermarket tires are much louder than stock anyway...
