i was wanting to get a HUD unit from a grand prix or something and hook it up in my cavalier. i was wondering if anyone else has done this on there car, and what it cost, and if you need anything special to have it work. i've heard that you need a special windshield, but i've also heard it works on any windshield.

you can buy aftermarket HUD kits that fit any car ....i cant remember the company though...

The defi systems require that you put a small clear sticker on your car that projects the images, so it doesn't really look that stealth.

LOL, ya no doubt, i think in the grand prix's as far as i can remember there inside the dash are they not? :dunno:

yeah my mom used to have a 99 GTP and the HUD was Mounted In the dash and projcected thru a oval cut hole
