Just a while ago I have got a new motherboard from memory express bc I fried my old one. But ever since then every time I turn on the power the cpu screen have a " _ " an underscore and it blinks. So i would turn on again and it would do the same. Then I would turn off the power source on the back for up to 3 min. Then it would finally turn on. Everythingelse is fine. But what is the problem and how to fix it. And how much to fix?

Thanks duders!

sounds like faulty ram to me. If you have 2 sticks in there, trying removing one of them and see if it boots ok. Or it could be a faulty hard drive too, or maybe psu. How did you fry your old mb?

I had this problem, faulty power source.

Take it to mem express for them to test it.

It might, if its not putting out enough current it might give it a brownout. Same thing that burns out fridge and freezer motors.

I dunno for sure, but I wouldn't recommend it.

A faulty PSU is the #1 cause of PC death.
I'd suggest getting something decent ;)

u could try to run pc-check (eurosoft) and such first
if it gives you direct answers than you can approach them w/ that and save urself some wait time

Enermax 535W EG565P-VE All In One ATX 12V v2.0

109 dollars from memory express and its SLI compatible if you are ever upgrading to that later. Plus some of the MX just personally recommend it as its used in there systems. I would trust those nerd opinions on computer stuff.

Oh what is the rest of your hardware setup?
