Pretty much the best cold drink other than bubble tea. Its self serve soft serve ice cream mixed with your choice of slurpee. Had it for the first time in edmonton at a husky gas station, anyone know of a Calgary location?

Husky on Canyon Meadows in the SE had them for a while but the ice cream machine always breaks down.

I told myself I would not buy another after I finished a large sized one. If you think slurpees are diabetes in a cup, you have never had a screamer.

:werd: Used to drive from Calgary to the Mac's at Sylvan Lake to have that stuff. Very sweet and addictive. Always wondered if you get the same effect by getting soft serve at McD's and mixing that manually into a slurpee? :dunno:

Ricks Grocery in Lynnwood sells them, but i don't think they have very many slurpee flavours.

My sis also told me that the zoo sells them, but its costly...

Rick's Grocery.

I think the originators of the ice cream slurpee in Calgary. My friends used to come to from Hawkwood just to get that shit. I loved growing up in that area, every day during the summer get your ice cream slurpee.

Moved out of there about 5-6 years ago when the Imperial Oil thing got out of hand.

Up 18th, left at the 4-way stop. Go around the bend past the condo's and it's on your right in a strip mall.

if you go up ogden road and turn into lynwood by the baseball diamonds, go straight up the hill and keep going straight, it will be on the left hand side. I will be up there soon

they have been around for years man. You can get them almost anywhere here in the hat. Out of all the gas stations and convience stores in the hat there cant me more then a handfull that dont have them. I remember going to the convience store up in southridge after my sisters soccer to have have back when i was like 13.

They have alot of different names to. Screamers, tornados, Sno joes, twisters.

I swear 7-11 sells these too, look in the freezer where they keep all the ice cream bars and you'll find a ice cream cup that has the slurpee brand on it and fits on the slurpee cups so you can push the icecream down with your straw.
can anyone verify this ?
