The postal office at Super Drug Mart in Crowfoot is looking for part-time postal workers (cashier) who will be returning to school in the Fall. Retail experience is preferred (fast-food can be counted) and can work evenings and weekends.

We close at 9 p.m. during weekdays and 6 p.m. on weekends.

You must be ready to learn new things consistently and be able to handle customers professionally. You should also be patient and be able to cope with stress.

To be honest, I can tell you that it is not a hard job at all. There may be more things to learn and remember than fast-food, but once you get the hang of it you'll find it fairly relaxing. It may get busy once in a while, but once the weekend comes along you'll be slacking quite a bit. I've yet to get any actual stress from this job.

If you're interested, go to the post office at Super Drug Mart at 28 Crowfoot Terrace N.W. (Right beside Blockbuster and very near Burger King) and hand in your résumé. Darla is the manager there so it's best for you to catch her between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays.

If you have any additional questions you may PM me or call the post office at 241-8369.

I'm not fully certain about the starting wage, but I think it's $8/hr. You will have to ask the manager to verify that.

No doubt, the ad in the Sun says McDicks is hiring at 10-11/hr part-time

Well if people are willing to work at a fast-food restaurant then go right ahead. I know $8/hr sucks, but at least it's a much better environment than fast-food.

I don't find that a problem to arrange. You obviously have to talk to my manager to make sure, of course.
