questions about bringin a car into alberta

what do i need to do to bring a car into alberta. what is the procedure. like for example, if i buy a car in vancouver and want to bring it to calgary..
so i go to vancouver pik up the car...
then ...?
then..?

Same as any other car - get insurance before driving it over. But you need to do an out of province inspection before registering it. That's it.

so, after i buy it, i need to get the inspection done first? can't i drive it back to alberta then do the inspection?

you buy it
put insurance on it
drive it home
then get the inspection so that you can register it.
