We had an rx-7 meet there on the 16th, it was an expensive day for some, the cops didn't take kindly to an import meet there.

Just be careful, and prepare to pay if there is a bad apple in the crowd.

is the thread for further clarity.

I sure hope that the cop only gave the guy that did the burnout and no one else a hard time. In any case, doing a burnout in a park is not the smartest thing to do and I for one am glad that he got busted as I would not be impressed if I was out there with my family trying to enjoy the day. Save that for the track or an empty parking lot.

Interesting, so he is going for the mistaken indentity defense.

Well, 84stock is apparently a pretty stand up guy, not some punk who just showed up. Generally the rx-7 meets are mature enthusiasts.

And yes, pulling a burnout in a park is a bad idea, it's a bad idea anywhere in fact, i'm just saying watch out. Miata club meets there regularly too, but they're in the AM.

Yeah we had a meet with the RX7 guys last year at glenmore park which over 30 cars showed up.

Does 84stock drive a silver rx7? Think ive met him at MITM last year too.

It wasn't a standing burnout, just peeled the tires with a little launch. Dumb move none the less though. I drive the red 7.
