I am moving on the 5th. but because of the long weekend and due to the fact that all the rental places are not open sundays. the rentals ended up being 160. because i have to rent the truck for sat-tuesday. which sucks. are lal the rental places going to be like that? or could i possibly find a rental company or someone on the thread that can help me out.

dont rent anything from the airport locations they throow in a whole a bunch of taxes and convinience charges because its the airport.

uhaul's are a bitchto get they usually put you on a waiting list which is about a week long.

Try discount car and truck rental.

well i just put a order in for a 26' uhaul for the 5th of august. so it should be fine.

well ya 160 sounds pretty good but my mom wants to save as much money as possible because we have to pay the mortgage for a few months before our old house sells. the uhaul is gonna be 40 and then i'm gonna guess an extra 30.

thx for the tip djays :D i searched up the airport prices and they are almost double what the other locations charge.

Don't rent from the airport unless you're on vacation elsewhere, most of the time it'll cost more.

i think calgary charges about 21% of your rate. its all a concession fee;)

all airports do that cuz they are renting out airport property

Give these guys a try. http://www.rentawreck.ca/

My brother-in-law used them for three moves, and no problem each time.
