WTB: $4000-$5000 4x4 SUV

Looking for an SUV for the winter. Gotta be 4x4. V/I6 or 8 don't matter to me so long as it's in the $4000-$5000 range.

It can't be god awful ugly cause I can pick up something with minimal rust off the autotrader that's pretty much rust free. Checking out what's out there on beyond.

Has to be reliable and not require any sort of preventative maintenance in the immediate future. Must also have good tread left.

get a Toyota Hilux surf.. lots of JDM importing companies have them already in stock in Calgary and Edmonton... most go for $3300 or so.. with really low kilometers.
