Yeah I bought it, read most of it and then proceeded to wipe my ass with it. Easily the worst SCC evar! Not so much the LS1 swap in the FD. But rather the VQ35 swap for the S14: there is no point to it at all! Yeah the swap is worth while if you get the engine for free or sumthin but is you can pick up an S14 SR for oo lets sat $3000 and oo lets say $1500 in minor mods, you'll be way ahead of the VQ35 anyway. Worse still is the cost of just doing a KA-T that you can peice together for almost nothing (previous issue of SCC). What they should have done is sumthin more useful like a VG30DETT in the S14.
As far as the LS1 swap in the FD, meh, I'd rather have swapped in the 20b for my money in such a sexy car, but it does make some sense for a FC or FB.

they should have just shown the ls1 swap into the s14 ;)
