As many of you have already heard, one of Calgary’s premier automotive clubs is hosting an event sponsored by some of Calgary’s finest businesses. It’s called The MAX 2002 Poker Run. The event is in support of The Children’s Wish Foundation. For those of you not familiar with their cause, The Children’s Wish Foundation grants the favourite wishes of children who suffer from high-risk life threatening illnesses. Here is where you come in. There will be a $25 ante (or registration fee) to participate in the event. 100 % of the net proceeds go to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Our corporate sponsors have supplied us with some great prizes including a radar detector, a DVD player, and over 40 other fantastic prizes. Almost everyone will win something.

At the beginning of the event, you will be supplied with a player’s package which will include a map of the event, official rules and regulations, & poker hand configurations from best to worst.

Cut-off for registration is Friday May 31, 2002.

Hurry, because space is limited to 100 vehicles.

You will find more detailed information at www.theMAXonline.net. There is a frequently asked questions (FAQ) page, as well as a link to download the registration form.

See you there!

The even will actually be covred my The Calgary Hearld and Global Television. We ask that all road laws are obeyed. The public has an image that people who mod their cars are up to no good causing problems. We are trying to show that we dont and gain some respect
