Starter car idea

Im going to buy a car soon, a starter car, i have a budget of about 6 - 7 grand. Ive been looking at a 96-99 Eclipse or possibly a 93-99 bmw 3 series. Any other ideas out there????

I Believe you mean 92-98 3 series, as in 99 the e46 came out.

The best you will get is a 92 with that budget.


Make your own desicion, people make these threads all the time, decide on some cars YOU like and then research about them for errors, things that go wrong etc.

There's plenty of choice in that range. What style of car are you looking for? I'm assuming you want a bit of sport and luxury.

Other candidates include early 90s Mercedes E-classes, Volkswagen Corrado G60s, Subaru SVXs, early Audi A4s, first gen Lexus GS300s (If you can find one), Nissan 300ZXs, mid 90s Saab 900 Turbos, early and mid 90s Toyota Celicas, plus many others.
