hi, was the west coast of usa (california and such) once a part of canada??? i desperately need a link of something that states this, i learned in school but that was ages ago and i cant find anything on google,

I also dont think it was, I have a picture of canada when it was formed there is no california or any of the states for that matter...

Yes, but we gave up some of our coastline (that's now a part of Alaska) to appease the Americans.
