Like the title says I got a 1998 Champion White Integra Type R for sale with a few modifications done to it:
-Carbon Fibre Hood
-HID head lights
-AEM Short Ram
-Comptech Headers (Honda Performance)
-Red Momo Steering Wheel
-Suede Seats and Shift Boot
-Acura Carbon Fibre Shift Knob
-Panasonic Motorized Deck
-1 12" Pioneer Subwoofer with an Xtant amplifier

This is an orginal type r for all you smart asses and the engine swap was done from the last owner who says that he has a close friend who works at Silverhill Acura so he paid nearly nothing for a brand new engine. Why not? and what do you know the vin# matches a white Type R.

That is white but it is not "Championship White", the official integra type-r white. It is tafetta white, the regular integra white.

Also what is the VIN# of the car.

- rear
- interior (seats, steering wheel, s.knob & boot),
- engine
- VIN#


But even if it was a real Type R, then everyone would be able to tell anyways. For one...the color seems to be too bright...looks more like a pure/super white in the pic. And another is no front ITR lip....emblem is another...looks like the orignal H spray painted red! Sure you got the 5 lug goin on, but anyone can easily do a 5 lug conversion! And last.....the TYPE R sticker...usually it's located on the rear bottum quarter panel by the door.....but stickers are usully peeled off!

it does not have door moldings just like a type rand it has the 5lug wheels..those things would suggest that it is a real type r.

for the stickers, lip and paint difference i guess there is 2 explenations
1) fake
2)this car was in a accident and the person that fixed it was to cheep fo buy a lip and changed the damaged oem hood for a cf one. paint was hard to match so he had to get a complete paintjob and thats why it is flawless with no rock chips?? :dunno:

i dont understand why someone would swap the engine unless the car was raped to shit causing the engine to blow.

eather way good luck with the sale, most people that are looking for one of thease cars usually have knowlege of authenticity of thease cars.

type r's never had sunroofs, they had extra sway bars in the front and rear and their interior is better crafted

im not saying it is not a type r, im pretty sure it is because the cluster is also from one...what bothers me is the front bumper and the car not having airbags....this could be a type r but it was in a accident at one point and who knows how big it was.
the previous owner is a idiot for painting that interior and making it no better than a riced out cavalier

if i was you i would contact the previous owner about the car and ask about any accidents that you did not know about because right now this car is not worth any more than10'000$

even so, they aren't cheap engines even if he knew someone and it would've been under warranty (most likely because most R's are still under 50000kms(i think it was) and they're owners usually go for extended)

just go look at it, c if it's missing the extra chassis stiffeners in the trunk and underneath..
