AC is simple.. any shop that has a tech that can read how much to put in on the sticker can do it... you will be looking around 130-180$

Or you could pay about $30 for the attachment and a couple cans of freon and top it up yourself.

(first time) he was like i seen your car exchange hands many times. he was like when did you get body work done? i was like the hell. then he was like noo, i signed the same supra with the "same rims" come in here many times blah blah. he then asked how long you had it. i say 7 years.

A/C is not simple. It can be complicated. If you have to recharge it, there is a problem. If the refrigerant leaked out, you will need to repair the leak. Recharging it may last a day, maybe a month or longer, but it's not fixing the problem. There are high pressure lines, low pressure lines, compressor, evaporator, A/C condensers, clutch, coil etc. To properly find the problem, you will need a shop to use a sniffer to find where the leak is or problem. If it's a real slow leak, sometimes a sealant can solve the problem and plug the leak.

If your A/C system is R12 (95 and older), it will need to be converted to R134A before it can be recharged (Retro-Fitted). This can range from $150-300 depending on the shop plus the recharge.
