REALLY REALLY bored today.. so did some reading (OPTION), here's some testing done in HK on GT wings with a BNR34 :

1. NO WING
Cd .28
Top Speed: 310km/h
0-200km/h 11.858 sec
100-200 accer. 9.1 sec

Note: perfect for straight and smooth road.

2. GT wing - LEVELED
Cd .48
Top Speed: 257km/h
0-200km/h 12.219 sec
100-200 accer. 10.5 sec

Note: Overall balance of straight road and moderate turning roads.

3. GT wing - 7 degree COUNTERCLOCK
Cd .46
Top Speed: 260km/h
0-200km/h 13.167 sec
100-200 accer. 9.9 sec

Note: good for fast 100-200 accer.

4. GT wing - 7 degree CLOCKWISE
Cd .5
Top Speed: 249km/h
0-200km/h 14.144 sec
100-200 accer. 11.1 sec

Note: Perfect for winding road and track racing. Strong downforce. Not for straight roads...

That's interesting. Did they include improved lap times with the extra downforce?

they mention its great for tracks, but didn't include data on that... from the look of the picture I think they did it on the street?!

Useless information then. There's no way you could actually prove it helped you without doing laps of the track to see what effect it had (if any, other than killing your mileage). Wings like that aren't useful on the street anyways, because of the kind of speed you need to generate that downforce.
