is it true that you need to get a legal document from ICBC for a bill of sale if you buy a used car from British Columbia?? now for the second question, if you buy used after market parts and want ICBC to cover it do you have to have the original receipt? what if the receipt was hand written would they still accept that as a valid receipt?will they accept a hand written or printed bill of sale? heres my problem theres a guy from vancouver who wants to buy my turbo kit but says he needs one that is imprinted from the shop. so if say i get one and he tries to screw them over buy saying eg. my motor blew but when i bought it from the shop and they said it would not void the warranty etc...so thats out of the question! so anyone here who can help me out with some answers?
