I know that when I had my oil light problems, a few of you offered to give me a spare O2 sensor. Anyone still have one in good shape? I want to replace mine to see if it improves my gas milage considering my car's exhaust smells rich of gas. If anyone still has one in good shape that they're willing to give to me, I won't turn you down. :)
Then I just gotta install it, probably get it done at my dealership.
Oh yeah, if anyone needs any "Certified Honda Parts", just ask me, and I'll get 'em for ya at cost + 10% :)

They aren't that expensive, can't your dealership get them for you cheap enough?

they cost 325 approx from the dealership. I could give you one of mine but your car would run worse.

they cost about half what the stealership charges if u go to partsource...
and dont get a used one, it sorta defeats the point of getting a new one

Hahaha, yeah, I know. But a few people offered to give me their "spare", so ya never know. I should get a new one anyway, it would definitely help my gas milage considering I can smell that my car's burning rich :(
is it burning rich or burning oil?

uhh, o2 sensors are most often car specific, and its not a good idea to get a "used" one...cus theyre supposed to crap out about every 80k...shouldnt be 325...thats more than i paid, and i got one of those fancy shmancy heated ones

HOLY JEEBUS! I was quoted $60 for the "expensive" one, and $20 for the "cheap" one. If you want a cheaper price, give me your cars model, and I'll get you one at cost + 10%.
That's just nuts! :nut:

Someone mentioned that O2 sensors are not universal, and specific to your car. So yours might be $60 while someone elses might be $300.
Mine are something stupid like $470 from the dealer :(
And yeah, replacing a used O2 sensor with another used O2 sensor is like asking everyone for their old oil so you can save money on your next oil change ;)
