Walked down to the skate park this afternoon and took a couple of shots. The location of the sun was a pain in the butt being at just the wrong angle. I wasn't able to get the guys to try it on the other side due to the layout of the park. If you decide to head down there to shoot I recommend getting there earlier in the morning.

Also if anyone has tips on better shooting let me know.

No.

Infrared light comes together to focus at a different point than the visible light you would be focusing on beforehand. Therefore, all your images will be slightly out of focus.

You have to trust the camera to (auto)focus with the filter on, since you can't see IR light through the viewfinder to do it yourself.

Hey man next time you go out try to pan the camera with the motion of the rider. should give you this type of effect. Nice pics though.:thumbsup:

I've been dying to get into taking high quality pictures with a more professional camera that has the options I want.. However, I'm stuck with a basic digital camera that I desperately need a tripod for.

I took this when I noticed the little H logo on the inside of one of my wheels when I was taking apart my donor car .. thought it looked nifty so I snapped a few pics, and this one came out looking the way I wanted it to.

Black paper + 2 lights. I used a gold foil reflector on the 2nd one to help w/ facial lighting.
