I'm looking to buy a lightweight battery, but would rather get one locally, or at least in Canada to save on currency conversion, brokerage, duty...

I'm thinking of:
Genesis G16EP or Odyssey PC 680.

Does anyone know of a local distributor?

There ya go....
We can always use more room in our engine bay.

However W3apon, if your y-pipe blows off, no tennis ball mod for you with a lightweight battery...

Some of us turbo dodge guys have had good luck with lawn tractor batteries, believe it or not. They don't work real well below freezing though, but they're much lighter. I'd just find the smallest auto battery you can find at Can. Tire or whatever.

Why not relocate it too, if your looking for more space?

haha, there isn't much space to relocate it to period.
Plus with a trunk relocation, you need to install a switch.
