Mark-up at MEC is usually pretty small. I doubt you would get much of a discount if employees even get one at all.

Friend used to work at MEC - you do get one, and its not a bad discount at all on some items.

Edit: Err...referring to skiing stuff...you pro order it, must be something like that for the rest of the stuff too...not sure though.
