am selling my 1989 FZR400.
Pros:
- ~14,000 km on the bike.
- both tires ~3/4 season old (Bridgestone BT-014 I think) lots of tread left
- body in good condition.
- very light (~380lbs) and nimble.
- valve adjustment done at beginning of this year, oil changed every 3000 km, other basic maintenance maticulously done.
Cons:
- function of the automatic fan switch was erratic when I got the bike, so a manual override was installed (still maintains the stock circuit).
- pictures here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/491227/9
- will include the FSM (factory service manual)
**asking price of 3500 OBO**
I love the bike and this was my first bike also. However, I am looking to get a 600cc+, something with a bit more tq and taller gearing. The bike is a blast to ride, it is very light and handles very well! Refer to here: http://www.fzr400.com/ . In addition feel free to google it, I'm sure it will come up with positive results. Feel free to ask any questions or make an offer. Finally the bike is located in Edmonton. Thanks!
