Its a 2001 Topaz 330 with sport and premium package!!!

First mods will be some new tails to remove the yellow and get rid of the ugly wood trim in the interior.

 I'M IN THE MARKET FOR THE EXACT SAME THING RIGHT NOW, 2001 AND EVERYTHING. HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY IF U DON'T MIND ME ASKING? KM'S?

beleive me i won't, first mods will be a black carbon fibre interior trim kit, some either LED or M3 taillights and that will probably be it before the winter, but after the winter it will be a lot different, but in a good way!

and yea TOPAz was my favorite colour, there were 2 e46 topaz coupes in Canada and I flew to winnipeg to look at one and bought the other that was in Edmonton.

I think carbon fibre is :bigpimp: in a lot of cars but in a beamer I like the wood trim. My g/f hates the wood trim though, i guess different strokes for different folks...:dunno:

Love the new ride though, keep us posted when you do the mods. oh and let me know how things turn out with the L.E.D. tails, I would want the same thing for mine when i get it in the next week or so here.

I'd like to know as well. I see a lot of people my age moving from Honda to the BMW 3 series and I wonder what it costs.

I looked at the pics and one of them shows the km's, its pretty high for that year. It was 131000 something, so im guessing he paid about $26000 or so. The thing that sealed the deal for me was driving my dad's 325i, it is slower than my civic but the ride quality is not even comparable.

BMW > Honda for life now.

BTW what age group are you refering to? I'm 21 and I don't see too many guys switching to BMW from honda at 21, but i'm sure they'd like to. :D

I can see how tis could be taken as a "cocky" remark but it was't intended that way. I was asking what age group he was talking about in his post and the last part was a joke.

Topaz Blue is one hot color. Congrats on the new car man.

Some of you guys need to stop bickering about who got what car at what age.

The comment about driving the Honda and then the BMW is so true. BMW=:bigpimp: Honda=:burnout: j/k:rofl:

Congratulations! Welcome to the BMW club, cherish every moment! They truly are special machines. First suggestion I might throw out is get rid of all the colored reflectors and lights, ie. no orange. Switch to body colored reflectors, and red and white tails, with clears up front (if you dont already have those I didnt look too hard... oops!). Treat her like your baby!

Well done!

A most excellent purchase and a really hot colour too! Look forward to seeing you on the streets at some point.

Enjoy the car, they really are the ultimate driving machine.

I was talking to andy @ tunerworks and he was saying that unless I plan on running more than like 350whp there is no point in getting aftermarket brakes. The huge 4-wheel discs that come with the car are more than enough!

He paid half, as did I.

Thanks for coming out though.

and also, there is always point to upgrading - if you track your car.... duh.

A guy was continually modding his car, ran his car around with each and every mod.

His brake upgrade gave him 2 seconds... thats a LOT of time ;)
