Pathfinder shuts off

Hey guys so Im driving around with my friend his Pathfinder (as it was hailing), he coasts to slow down and take a corner, after he took the corner the thing just shut off? He said it's never done that before and it starts up easily after What can this be? It just shuts off and all the lights on the dash come on like it's in accessory mode

nope it has a quarter tank in it, it just started doing it after the hail today, is it possible something got went and its doing that?

Does he have a CAI without a bypass water thingie valve?

wet/damp ignition coil could be it..had the same issue on my jeep when it rained for about a week there...if the distributor cap is loose or cracked, some moisture may get in and mess with the spark.

I had this same problem in a 95 pathy once. It fixed itself after a day though :dunno:
