Didn't you have iforged for a show before? I have a pic of your car with them on :D

Ummm anyways.....Your car's grey....I would say get......some Work wheels........I would definitely say that for an E46, 18's are weak and never look right. Go 19's

For an E46 you should DEFINATELY go 19". I'm on 19's and the ride is prettttty rough...especially on roads like Deerfoot.

The ride kinda sucks but who cares...with 19's you'll be pimpin whereas 18's will be like meh. Just look at the difference on E46 M3's (some had 18" while others had 19"....the 19's look WAY better).

The I-forged wheels actually belonged to ScCab. I borrowed them for the car show :bigpimp:

Anyway, I don't want to sacrifice too much ride comfort! It's a tough one :dunno:

19's for sure.

If you looking for around 5k, then I would definately pick up some DPE's.

What kind of hood is that? I like the sport splitters as well but it might make the front end a bit too low for daily driving.

^^ Looks to me like a OEM M3 hood.
Go with 19's on the E46, They suit the car soo much more than 18's do.

Andy, you have any sources for the replica Arqray front lip for the M-Tech bumper?

Don't be a pansy!! Lower it , with a LOW lip! That silver E46 up there has a Rieger lip for Mtech. But it seems like you've already picked my favourite lip. The arquay

I take it you decided to keep the car after all?

max_boost

I'm going to keep it. I know I keep changing my mind etc. but this time it's staying put. I'm joining Project Technik. haha:thumbsup:

Haha, nice choice of wheel!!

I LOVE e46's, that's the next ride for me!!

But definetly go with 19"s, the ride will be a tad more rough for sures.

Good Luck!!

Chris

in the sponser section, they have tones of sources for great low cost replica lips.

Anyone know if the E46M3 mirrors are a direct fit on to the 330? Are the M3 mirrors 6 pin? 12 pin?

Anyone want to take off my door panel and find out if my mirrors are 6 pin or 12 pin? haha

IMO HRE are played out, but they are VERY nice wheels

You have some great choices, TSE3 is the best choice by far.

Look into Kensis wheels?

What year coupe? Prefacelift is definately plug and play M3 Mirrors, not too sure about postfacelift coupe - sorry.

My car is 04 Facelift coupe.

I don't quite understand what you mean by 'HRE's being played out'

The wheels are already on the car. Ride is a bit noisy from what I'm use to but $2k for 3 piece forge HREs, I am so there. haha

Coilovers should be here and installed by Saturday.

Exhaust is about 7-10 days away.

haha Yah I should have! BUt I kept flip flopping on what to do :nut: :dunno:

I might just stick with what I have got now. It would be nice to get the arqray and mirrors too but they aren't that important hehe

I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow :bigpimp:

441's are very nice. And where the hell did you find hre's for $2k? Must be used...Look great!!!

And to the "HRE's are played out?!!" comment...

Dumb comment imo. HRE's are worth $5k and are too baller to be played out in any city if you ask me. The chances of two cars pulling up in a big city and having the same HRE wheels neverless both having HRE wheels is rare.

Can't imagine it happening it Calgary neways. My dad has 540R's on his Lexus in Red Deer and no one has HRE's. He gets nods and comments from Vettes, imports and domestics alike such as "Damn, those are HRE's. Nice wheels."

And he would respond with a Dave Chappelle comment in similarity to: "Thats cause I'm BALLA like that!"

jk haha.

*drool*

TSE3 and HRE great choices man!

Gordon on here, Red 323i has the TSE3 on his ride and it sounds great, can't imagine it on a little larger engine.

You coming to the Eurodrivers meet this next week or the big one for Alberta??

max_boost

So everything is on the car now but just haven't had time to get some nice photos taken.

Indeed I got an amazing deal on the HRE's. Wheels were in mint condition. $2000 WOW.

Exhaust sounds absolutely amazing. Car is dumped on HR coilovers and the tuck in the rear is sick. Perfect setup, no rubbing or anything. I am very pleased with how everything turned out.

Do you have a link to the time of the meets? I work a lot so unless if it's on a Saturday/Sunday before 3pm I won't be able to make it.

Did you lower it yet? LOWER!

max_boost
08-31-2006, 01:37 PM
It's lowered on HR coilovers. The rear looks good but I feel the front should be lower but apparently that's as low as it goes according to my tech.

The rear is too low. Looks retarded.

Cars need to have a little rake... (rear slightly higher than front). Or they look like mexican lowriders.

The front is the same height as my car with the ZHP suspension... weird. That means my car is really low stock.

max_boost

The rear is fine. I love the tuck look. I know what you mean though, I park it next to the SLK and it doesn't look right hehe The front should be lower! haha ;)
