The processor is currently mounted on the motherboard. I have lapped this processor (it's been sanded to be perfectly flat to make perfect contact to a heatsink/waterblock) due to the fact that almost all 8xx series processors were bowed in shape and made terrible contact with heatsinks.
This processor overclocks well and will do 3.8ghz no problem (stock 2.8ghz) on this motherboard.
