Some Original Parts Are From 1989 GS500E (Frame, Engine Covers, Rims).

You shouldn't advertise your 1989 bike as a 2004 just because you put a 2004 kit on it...IMO.:thumbsup:

Correct!! Just the aftermarket parts are 2004... why he's advertising it as a 2004 is beyond me!

To sort out the confusion.

Correct the bike is 1989. Has 3000k on new engine rebuild and runs like new. Everything else is 2004 except frame, engine halves, Certain non wearing engine components and ignition, brake lines etc.

The number of things replaced would generally state the bike as being 2004

However on paper it is a 1989
