Yeah, I agree with that. Every body style of Impreza since the GC8 has looked HORRIBLE in my mind at first, but then the looks really start to grow on me.

I've been pondering something lately, with all the american makers bringing back classic cars with their classic shapes (camaro, mustang, challenger concept, etc.) I'm wondering why the big Japanese manufacturers aren't coming out with retro styling ? 60's and 70's Corolla's, RX3's, Skylines, 200b's .. they all looked sweet in my oppinion.. Why not bring back a concept of some of the old styling, instead of this bubbly bullshit..

That imprezza looks.. I don't really.. know yet, but the corolla got pretty lame looking.

Looks okay to me. I kind of like hatchbacks as they are much more useful than coupes or sedans. Besides Subaru's are never beauty pagent contestants so a WRX owner calling that ugly is equivalent to the pot calling the tea kettle black.

That's the ugliest upper-rear section I have ever seen on a vehicle. FUGLY! To my eyes I see new Civic front styling, Tiburon mid-aft styling, Caliber rear window styling, newer J-body rear bumper light styling, and of course the ridiculous STI wing.
