down load a program called Gspot and then drag the Video file over to the program, It will tell you the codecs you need to run that file and weather or not they are installed on your Computer..

Good Luck Bro:thumbsup:

If worst comes to worst, I have it burnt from Movie Central on a RAM DVD disk you can borrow.

i think you migth have some sort of Virus running amuck on your system, I remember now that I had this problem a while back, I ran spydoctor on my computer along with virus scan, and it seemed to fix everything.:dunno:

First thing: restart.

Second thing, go here: http://www.cccp-project.net/
and download the file, install it, etc. It's a huge codec pack with 2 versatile media players.

Third thing: try playing your file with Media Player Classic. If that doesn't work, try it with Zoom Player. Both are included with the codec pack.

If that doesn't work, this is a weird problem - hopefully those players do the trick. Cheers.

Sounds like a old or generic codec thats being used.

First go to:

http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml

Download

Latest stable binary
XviD-1.1.0-30122005.exe (628kb)
XviD-1.1.0 final build.

If you have divx, ensure 'Support Decoding of Generic Mpeg-4' video is disabled.
