Not sure how long this link will work but wow, what a nice condo.

Yummy! (http://www.calgaryrealestateservices.com/cgi-bin/re/listings.cgi?overlord=Details&@mlnum=C3215946&realtor_mysqldb=&templatesys=&listingtype=res&@status=&Nav=&realtorinfo=&realtor=)

If it doesn't work go to the browsing area and click into condos its the Eau Claire one. I'm just amazed at how modern and nice it is, I've come across some pretty nice places in Calgary while surfing. Anyone else with some nice ones please link =)

:werd: Fuck living in a somewhat confined space with no yard, I would rather have a huge area to enjoy all my toys and for my family and friends to enjoy as well.

I agree totally, but there is certainly a market for stuff like that. Alot of businesses buy places like that for execs, clients, VIPs.

We are putting the elevators in there. It's a beautiful view from the top floors. If you have that kind of cash it would be the place to be downtown.

That's fine, you'll have 2 hours to think about your yard every day while you're driving to and from work ;)

Not if one was self employed and worked from home haha

Working at home is a nice idea, but for all the $1,000,000 plus houses we've sold, not a single person works from home. You can live in the middle of nowhere if you want, but the city is still the economic engine...

Now if you drive a car you love to work each day, who can complain about an hour or two of commuting? ;)

In regards to that first condo, the condo fees are prohibitive in that particular development. You have so much more to worry about that the $1.35 million price tag!

I could only imagine what they are like, my in-laws are currently living in the condos built on top of North Hill Mall and their condo fees are ~$900 per month.

When you can spend 1.35 million on a condo, 1300 a month on condo bills isn't worth getting off the couch.

:werd: For an acreage at the same price, the equivalent of that monthly condo fee can pay your property taxes, hire lawn mainenance and have a someone clean your house every two weeks.

^^^ nah buy a ride-on mower :D, and if you keep it clean as you are in the house then theres no need for a maid. just pick up after yourself. and there should be no problem
