It's supposted be a recreation of a old Ferrari race car. The same guy that owns the original car paid 4million for this one, with the original costing close to 10mil.

Similarities?

Even the concave in the P4_5's hood matches the shape of the dome of the Birdcage. If you had a glass dome running from that concaved part of the hood, it would look almost identical :O

thank god its fast.. so it would look like a blur.... at least that way your eyes dont have to settle on one or any horrid part or its "styling". The mesh rear (and those really sharp looking exhaust tips) are McNasty :nut:

I think the Maserati Birdcage is one of the hottest cars of all time, and the P4/5 is awesome. The styling may be sketchy to some, that's the point. Pininfarina is basically the last coach building company around, and this car was built to the liking of the owner and noone else.

I'm sure that if each of you had inexhaustable resources to have your own custom car made exactly like you wanted it to be, lotsa people would call it ugly too ;)

If you were custom designing a car you wouldn't just take a cookie-cutter shape and tweak it. You would want something all your own.

btw, everyone who is hatin' on the exhaust... look closely. The exhaust is built into the diffuser.
